Unsigned Southwest Virginia
rifle attributed to the Honaker family.
These photographs were taken either before, or at about the time,
Colonial Williamsburg acquired this rifle. It is usually on display in
the Masterworks Gallery of the DeWitt Wallace Museum. It has since been illustrated
in several books and articles but you might find these unusual color
views interesting. The rifle is laying on an 18th-century desk.
