This rifle was photographed, with the permission of the owner, during the spring rifle matches at the NMLRA range in Friendship, IN. I was told it was a family gun recently discovered in the attic of a house where the grandparents had lived.
It shows several associations with Sheetz family of gunsmiths in Hampshire Co. WV.
