A Lancaster Rifle Signed Jacob Dickert

These photographs were taken during the 1993 NMLRA Gunsmithing Seminar at Northern Kentucky University. Jack Brooks had borrowed this rifle from the owner, William Meyers, and he brought it to his class so the students could study the original and attempt to make a stock with the same architecture.
A color photo of the rifle appeared on the cover of the February 1994 issue of Muzzle Blasts and it was included in my article on the 1993 Seminar (pages4-7) in that issue. It had already been featured in Longrifles of Note, by George Shumway in the July 1988 Muzzle Blasts.
