Another Shenandoah Valley style rifle with my version of the "spiral flower" patchbox finial. Made in 1977-78. Siler lock and Getz barrel were rust blued. Stock was stained with Nitric Acid and iron and finished with bees wax.
The top hinge segment is actually the patchbox release. That concealed release detail is found on many Valley rifles
